Everything you need to know about using your LitterShield™ Mat.
LitterShield™ uses a double-layer honeycomb design. As your cat leaves the litter box, loose litter falls through the openings in the top layer and collects underneath, helping keep it contained instead of scattered across your floor.
Simply separate the two layers and empty the collected litter. The EVA material can then be washed as needed. Allow the mat to dry before placing it back in position.
LitterShield™ is suitable for most common cat litter setups. Performance can vary depending on the size and shape of the litter particles, as larger pieces may not pass through the honeycomb openings as easily.
The bottom layer is designed to be waterproof and provides an additional barrier between the mat and the floor underneath. However, LitterShield™ is designed primarily to catch loose litter and is not intended to replace a dedicated urine-proof surface or contain large amounts of liquid.
LitterShield™ is available in 30 × 30 cm, 40 × 50 cm, 45 × 60 cm, 55 × 75 cm and 60 × 90 cm. Choose a size based on the space available around your litter box and how much area you want covered.
The mat is made from soft EVA material and is designed to be comfortable for cats to walk across during normal use. Its non-slip base also helps keep the mat in place.
LitterShield™ is currently available in three colours: Beige, Titanium and Midnight.

Place LitterShield™ directly in front of the litter box where your cat exits. The honeycomb surface is designed to catch loose litter from your cat's paws as they walk across it. Regularly emptying the lower layer helps keep the mat ready to catch more.
